International Sailing Schools Association
The International Sailing Schools Association is an international association which provides a framework of common standards of quality and safety for sailing and windsurfing schools throughout the world. The ISSA standards apply equally to the certification of students completing sailing and windsurfing courses at all levels of ability. All ISSA sailing and windsurfing instructors are trained to the same of levels of competence.

Sailing is a passion that knows no bounds, and now, the International Sailing Schools Association (ISSA) is taking a giant leap forward to ensure that individuals with disabilities can also relish the joy of sailing. To make this vision a reality, ISSA is introducing a groundbreaking category of licenses for its instructors, known as “Sailing Instructor of Persons with Disabilities” (SIPD).

Wir engagieren uns gegen Plastikmüll,
der in Flüsse, Seen, Meere und Ozeane gespült wird .
Das sind 23000 Tonnen täglich weltweit = 150 Millionen Tonnen.
Dafür legen unsere Trainer den Schwerpunkt auf die Prävention in
350 ISSA- Segelschulen weltweit und
in unseren Medienaktivitäten.
Heute beginnen wir hier in Düsseldorf mit einem
Angebot für Lehrer an Schulen der Sekundarstufe.
Die ISSA in Partnerschaft mit der IYFR-Rotary Fellowship Pomerania Fleet
legt Ihnen eine vollständige, sechsstündige Unterrichtseinheit mit
digitalem Material und den passenden aktuellen Medien vor,
inklusive Basaltext, einem Vorschlag für den Stundenverlauf
konzipiert für die Klassenstufen fünf oder sechs in den
Fächern Erdkunde oder im vorfachlichen Unterricht.
